Hi Guys,

so I finally finished it, well actually it was done quite some time now but I just didn't have the time to take any pictures. But now that I have the pictures and I can share with you my Doro.
I never was or will be a big fan of scale modells ( i'm just a sci fi fan)but this will be my exception.
The kit contains many small parts and a few really big ones. I had to add about 140 faucets to each side and I tell you that was not something that I liked about the kit. But that is also what makes it look good all the little detail is very nice once its all in place.

The 2012 Mecha Contest is over

After 7 months the 2012 Mecha Contest is over.  With 5 categories and tons of prices it is no wonder that we had a bunch of great looking Masterpieces enter this contest, more than once  I tempted to comment on some of these wonderful looking models, but I couldn't. DREHKSTURM 1/100 conversin kit

Finally I got it done. This is the 1/100 Drehkturm Conversion for the MG Zeta Gundam 2.0 modelled by Richard aka Thehelmosengine and Painted by... yes me :)
As a fan of Garage kits (there is some sort of excitement I get out of them) I just couldn't wait to get my hand on this kit.  This is actually the first kit Helmos casted and I am very proud to have been able to work on this. So how was it? Can it compete with all the other resin Mecha kits out there?

First up is the Mother of brood. I replaced the head with one of the Tyrannofex, I figured the original head was a bit too small for my taste.Next the claws got replaced with some Scything talons, oh yes I just love them on my Tyranids.

Hi Guys I just got 3 new models, there from a modeler from Russia and these are unofficial Tyranids.
I always loved Garage kit because there are so unique and feel like something special.  so far Hydrocast has only made three kit's the Hive Lord, Spore drop pod and the Mother of Brood.

The Mecha Lounge is a new forum for modellers.
For the most part this forum was made by members of MAC, Kamm, Aulon, Sneeper, and Myself.
We also got Great Help from Harry, Darkworkx,Beard, Hummingbird and DC23 who has been spreading the News like Wildfire.

If you would ask any of us, we would probably say that there are enough forums already.

So I have been a bit lazy in terms of Blogging lately, but enough of that. Here is my first tyranid figure since 2005.

The As5E3 Leynos 1/35

Finally I can share with you my 1/35 scale Leynos Diorama.

I finished this kit at the end of last year but could not blog about it because I entered it in the HLJ Sci-Fi Modelling Competition 2012.

I managed to get 3rd Place in the Advanced Category XD

Tyrannofex Update 1

I thought I would have more done till now, but for no reason at all I just dident work very fast the last few days.

The first thing I did was to start kitbashing the head I don't like that the main head looks like the Swarm Tyranid one.

I am now the proud owner of the Tyrannofex

This morning I was super hyped and full of motivation. I got up brushed my teeth had a cup of Coffee and speed-walked down to the Munich City Underground to catch the Train that would get me to my local Gamesworkshop.

I just received a very important phone call.

So what is Infinity the Game ?

Kamm just showed me a video about infinity the game figures and I stumbled on this. This is a very nice video about how the game is played. I think there are 6 videos and this is the first part. I hope you enjoy watching this as much as I have.

I just posted that I was inspired and wanted to do some tyranids and then this BOOM!

A new Tyranid, the Tyrannofex/Tervigone, this is a multipart plastic kit from Gamesworkshop. Now I am hyped +100. I will definitely give this one a shot.
