Sunday Workspace Mayhem

Any given Sunday my Workspace goes downhill in terms of cleanliness. And today is no different, I went to our local Games Workshop Store on saturday and picked up on of the new Tau XV104 Riptide Battlesuits. So I was working on that last night till my eyes couldn't focus anymore. Beyond that i was actually working on my Nightingale, so that is still occupying my work space and you know how big that thing is, so there is not much space left. Any way I wanted to give you guys a good Idea what you get with the Battlesuit and frankly compared to a Bandai kit of equal value it is laughable at best. So what does this kit compare too?

Yes the MG Sinanju.  And this is what the two boxes look like next tooeach other.

In all fairness if I was to get the Sinanju it would be about 90€ and the Battlesuit is 65€ but that is due to Shipping costs. If you would get the battle suit in Japan the GW price is at about 8000yen. So I think it safe to say that both kits are at about equal value.

As you can clearly see you definitely get more with a Sinanju. But whatever the Tau looks cool and I wanted to have it, besides for a Warhammer 40k mini this thing is Big. But still it feels like lo little for the moneyz.

And here are some more pics from the Tau Battlesuit.
