DORA 1/72

Hi Guys,

so I finally finished it, well actually it was done quite some time now but I just didn't have the time to take any pictures. But now that I have the pictures and I can share with you my Doro.
I never was or will be a big fan of scale modells ( i'm just a sci fi fan)but this will be my exception.
The kit contains many small parts and a few really big ones. I had to add about 140 faucets to each side and I tell you that was not something that I liked about the kit. But that is also what makes it look good all the little detail is very nice once its all in place.

ARMORED CORE SUNSHINE DIO

This has been a long road for me to get this kit done. I started working on this kit as a relax built after i finshed the O, but layed it off till I got the Sazabi done.

Soon there will be Sunshine

This kit has come quite a way, I started it right after I finished "the O" but I just didn't have the time to work on it. Now that the Sazabi is done, I can finally finish it.

Destroid Tomahawk

I always have been a big fan of Robotech as a kid. My unklel bought a Tomahawk kit when I was 8 years old, and ended up giving it to me. I played with it so long till everything on it was broken.

22 years later I saw that Wave was bringing this kit to live and I instantly orderd it without even thinking for a second. The kit is the size of a HG Gundam kit but has the price of a MG kit, which IMO is a bit much.
It has a bit of a awkward face to it because it looks like a smiling frog imo. The build was very easy and I didn't feel like moding it.
I worked on the O for about 4 months now and really wanted to do some airbrushing. I started on the tomahawk, so I would keep my cool on the O. I used the Hairspray method I learned about on DC23s blog and airbrushed it with some khaki and dessert yellow.

At the end this kit came out much better than I thought it would.
